COURSE EXPIRATION

Unless otherwise noted, all self-study courses expire 6 months after enrollment. In some cases expired pre-license course enrollments may be extended for a fee. Students should contact the Academy adminis­trator at admin@dreamtownacademy.com.

REFUND POLICY

Since it is our goal to offer complete packages (which include more than one course) at truly remarkable pricing, our courses are non-refundable. However, students have six (6) months within which to complete their courses, and we do our best to accommodate any changes within that 6 month period. If the student fails to complete the course work within (6) months from registration, students forfeit their tuition.

INSTRUCTOR-LED PROGRAMS

Rescheduling

We recognize that our students sometimes experience unforeseen scheduling conflicts after enrolling in a class. If a student cancels a (live classroom) course prior to the start of the first class, we will accommodate one transfer request to another course date, at no charge.  Any additional class change requests will be accommodated if possible, but will require a rescheduling fee of $25.00. ALL CANCELLATION REQUESTS MUST BE IN WRITING and directed to admin@dreamtownacademy.com.

If a student misses one of the live classroom sessions, we will do everything possible to accommodate them in the next class offered, as long as it is within the 6 month registrant period.

LATE ARRIVAL, EARLY DEPARTURE OR FAILURE TO CONFIRM ATTENDANCE

Illinois law requires that students attend the entire class or webinar session. Late arrivals are not permitted for real estate pre and post-license Interactive sessions. We recommend that students plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled class time. Students who do not arrive for class on time will not earn credit for any part of the session. If any portion of the session is not attended, the student must complete the entire session when it’s offered on a future date. Attendance is verified throughout the session. If a student fails to confirm his/her attendance at the required interval(s), the student will not earn credit for any part the session and must attend the entire session when it’s offered on a future date.

CANCELLATION

In the unlikely event of a class cancellation, the Academy will offer a make-up class or accommodate students in another scheduled class.
